22 oz. Bomber from Champanes poured into a Kuhnhenn tulip glass, has a very clear copper pour with orange and gold intertwined, gave an off-white head with lots of effervescence, the head is persistent, the glass always had a thin cover and ring, and the ale leaves bubbly lacing on the sides of the glass, big hop aroma of flowers, pine, toasted malt and caramel in the background, this is clearly a hop forward beer, I got flavors of toasted malt, caramel, and lots of hops, light fruit in the background, hops do not bite the tongue with a coarseness that I expect from a IPA2 hoppy beer but leaves the palate pretty dry after the finish, I can feel the hop bitterness on the palate but it is so smooth on the tongue and mouth I would never know it has over 100 IBUs or that this is a hoppy IPA2, malt flavor is lacking some if you like a balanced hop and malt flavored beer, but if you like a big hop beer this is it, the hop bite grows a bit and the bitterness is more evident as the ale reaches room temperature but still this is very smooth drinking, has a nice mouth feel, this is one of the smoothest IPA2 I have had, hops are big on the nose and palate but it does not have that coarse bite, it is as though a switch was thrown between the time I smelled the beer and when I take a drink, it has a big hop nose and you know it is going to have a big bite but the hop bitterness and bite is not there, this is easily a sneaker of a drink, I found this to be very smooth and easy to drink, has to be the easiest IPA2 I have drank so far, even easier than some IPAs I have had, I think this would be a great IPA2 to have your newby try because the hop bite is minimal, a very nice IPA2!

22oz bottle shared by TheCaptain. Thanks Mark. Clear amber with a semi-lasting head. Both the aroma and flavor were exactly the same: grapefruit. Clean and uncomplex, this was the most grapefruit direct beer that I have ever had. Pretty good and at an unbeatable price.

Tastes like a lot of other DIPAs, well, except better. Immense tropical mango funky pineapple up front; it just smacks you! Hints of acetone in the aroma. Crazyaroma. Flavor is very bitter, obviously; grapefruit, citrus rind, sourdough bread, a little earthy and fruity in the flavor. Quite drinkable! Add.2 on rerate. Great beer, especially the aroma.

Getting Hop Stoopid with the guys is a good thing. Enjoyed at the tasting with the King of Hops drbayern, the kilted Prince celticbrew, Uncles Steve and Tom, our new Beer Pimp Brian and Dancing Paul. Pours into the glass a dark yellow. A really nice hoppy aroma prevales. The hops were very well balanced, with a great bittering finish!

Had this in a small lidded stein. Slight hazy amber orange with a decent foam head. Hops and citrus/pine on the nose with a good malt balance through the pallet. What kept me interested was the well balance body, not too hop heavy or citrus infused, the grain smoothness-a good drinker.

Bottle. Pored a slightly hazy golden color with a thin eggshell head. Very nice IPA, not sure if I would call it an IIPA but still very good. Excellent hop profile and very balanced much more so than say a Maharaja. Yum.

Bomber via Stefanje. I bow low to you sir for this gem. Piney yet fruity nose. A glorious clear as a bell amber in the tall glass. Head is bright but ephemeral. Some lacing but not a bunch. Body is medium and chock full of hops but not i an overpowering fashion. caramel malts balance it all out. Motre fruit appears near the finsiha dnthru it. A fine beer that was enjoyed on my porch overlooking my small hop farm. Woo Hoo for Stefanje!

22oz bomber served in a tulip. This beer poured a golden amber with a one-finger thick head of beige foam that quickly settled. Some spotty lacing was left around the glass. The aroma included grapefruit and strong orange. Also some light caramel. Not quite as fragrent as I was hoping. The flavor was very nice. Not quite a 9, but maybe a bit better than an 8. Tropical fruit, pine, and an abundance of fresh grapefruit notes. Piney and herbal. A lingering bitterness continued after each drink. Very nice. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and had light to moderate carbonation. A solid IPA.
