Bottle sampled. Pours a dark reddish amber with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, mild citrus, grapefruit, and floral hops. Flavor is moderately sweet and well balanced with caramel, toffee, grapefruit, pine, and warming alcohol with a long bitter finish.

Bottled. pours out in a clear reddish brown colour topped with a large long-lasting white foam. Bold aroma of caramel, nuts, cherries and raw green US hops. Grapefruity flavour with notes of grass and fudge with sticky undertones of chocolatesauce. Grapefruity bitter hops in the finish with notes of sweet black cherries.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both malt, caramel, alcohol, grapefruit, and brown sugar. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and grapefruit, leading to a very bitter grapefruity finish with a hop bite.

Fairly clear, dark brownish-amber body. A large, foamy, off-white head leaves behind thick, sticky ribbons of lacing. The aroma shows sweet brown sugar malts, hints of molasses, cream, and moderate piney hops. Caramel and molasses flavors are balanced out by floral and piney hops. Cream adds a smoothness to the flavor and the consistency, making for a milkshake-like, satisfying beverage. The body lies on the heavy side of medium. Clean finish. Alcohol is undetectable. Lagunitas continues to pump out really solid, strong American brews. This one is no exception.

Amber color with white head. Aroma is mainly hops and some citrus. Taste is also strongly of hops. Malt backbone in the finish. Decently strong, but not overpowering and alcohol is decently hidden. Overall, quite good would definitely pick it up again.

Tap. Heavy pine, citrusy, lemons in the nose. Starts off sweet with heavy caramel notes, some fruit, apricot?. Finishes sweet then bitter with an alcohol overtone. Really tasty

Bottle. Classic hoppy aroma with hints of lime and exotic fruit from a deep amber, clear beer with lasting, fluffy tan head, The flavor is intensely bitter with a good balance between hops and caramel malt. Long aftertaste with a in- your-face alcohol punch. Very nice beer, but I cannot understand why it is not classified as a Double IPA.

22oz bottle -pours a foamy light tan head and deep amber color. Aroma is northwest hops-citrus/resiny/pine, syrup, medium malt. Taste is tingly on the tongue, northwest hops-citrus/resiny/pine, syrup, medium malt, pick up of alcohol at the end. Good effervescence, could be an American Strong Ale, but best I2PA I think I’ve had.
