| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 21, 2009 Slight hop aroma with a clean olfactory. Light brown orange in color, filtered. Strong alky initial taste bud impact. Bitter pine sap and turpentine. Finish is certainly a shut down, bitter oily medicine. Too much for this lager lover. WEW! Typical Lag personality, over the top. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2009 Six pack from Market of Choice. Pours out a nice reddish brown with a small off white head and light lacing. Aroma is bready with sweet caramel and some earth and citric hop action. Flavor is a lot of the same, very good melding of those hop flavors with the sweeter malts. Just a tad too boozy, but it mellows as the beer warms. Another solid offering from Lagunitas. dirt55 (155), Washington, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2009 Bottle. Poured a redish amber, clear, with a white head, tons of lace. Aroma of big earthy, citrus hopping. Taste is very bitter, with lots of grapefruit and plenty of malty caramel. Finish is really nice bitter. Mouth is kind of sticky and sweet. Overall, a good sipping beer, with a good amout of malt to balance the brew. joshwilfong (797), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 17, 2009 reddish brown with large white head. moderate to low carbonation. hoppy nose. bitterness immediately, very distinct flavor that is quite possibly from chinook. flavor hops come in and have the classic Columbus style. a very prominent malty sweetness, likely from low crystal malt. a little alcoholic warmth, but very well hidden for the abv. love the american amber style and this is a great version
