It pours a nice amber/medium amber color to it. Oh!...My!!!...God! Hoppy as hell! I love it! Piny/Floral hoppy notes to it as well as grapefruity/fruity notes. This beer is hoppy, hoppy, hoppy and even more hoppy! Piny/floral hop taste. Thick/syrupy malty taste. Amazing! The after taste is a bit fruity. Which is great!

A very enticing floral hop nose. Very confident on the palate through the finish--assertive and bright, yet sweet and full. A body could easily be fooled into thinking this beer was no more than 6-7% alcohol. It will please both hop-heads and strong ale enthusiasts alike, as it displays technical mastery of balance with high potency ale as well as a mature and long-lasting hop character from nose to finish.

Bottle . Poured deep brown red with a large white head. Much lacing. Hoppy, piney aroma. Full mouthed flavour with much hoppiness, slight malt with no taste of alcohol. This is amazingly smooth. Finish lasts forever, is felt all throughout the mouth.

This is a spectacular looking beer! Pours a beautiful deep topaz color into a pint glass with a huge, pillowy head that lasts forever. Lacing all the way down the glass. One of the best looking beers I’ve ever seen! Aromas of fresh hops. Not overpowering, but very fresh smelling. Slightly fruity and flowery. Taste is very nice. Definitely bitter and hoppy, but not to the point of being overdone. A sweetness as well, but just enough to compliment the hops. I’m not sure I completely agree with the style for this beer. When I think of double IPAs, I think of over-the-top hoppiness and a very malty backbone. This beer seems more of a strong ale. But don’t get me wrong; I really like this and think it is very good!! Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Some bitterness remains on the palate after enjoying a mouthful. I have to say that as I write this review and drink this beer, the head is still amazing!!! Overall, this beer is exceedingly drinkable, but I know the ABV will catch up to me. Even so, I have to give it a high drinkabiltiy score, because it goes down so easily! Highly recommended. If you see it, pick it up and take it home.

22 oz. brown bomber bottle. A steal at $3.99 each. Poured out a wildflower honey color, with a sticky tan colored head. Aromas are of honey, caramel, toffee, burnt raw sugars. 9.28% ABV on my bottle. Flavor profile is off the hook. Strong malt backbone with grapefruit hops bite. Bites your ass like a rattlesnake. Big alcohol flavors, along with subtle vanilla beans in the background. Thick mouthfeel, chewy body. Like a big ass Barleywine. Kicks royal ass. Keep up the good work guys! Thanks much for this ale.
