22oz. "Sneak Release" bottling. Fruity, leafy, well-hopped nose, strong scents of lemon and pine arise, along with lighter notes of honey, flowers, pepper, doughy pastry and grapefruit. Deep golden copper color, clear, with a fine, slight head and thin wisps of lacing. Flavor profile is dominated by the hop character, strongly resinous, piney and bitter, with plenty of citrus throughout and a lightly sweet, syrupy malt undercurrent, finishing with a blend of lingering hop spice, warming alcohol and fresh lime. Acidic, oily and drying on the palate with a full body. Certainly quite flavorful and appropriately bitter considering the origin. Or is that triumphantly victorious? Perhaps a bit of both. Thanks to boboski.

This indeed was a strong ale. Very powerful, full of lots of sweet malted flavor, caramel as well. Nice big head very sweet, and a beautiful copper body. Verry smooth in taste, a great bit full mouthfeel and finishes very soft.
