Commercial Description:
Our best known brand is brewed since 1966. In contrast to both national and international trends Fürsten Pils has kept its characteristic bitterness and its strong colour. The name of the brewery and its brands changed from 1st Jan. 2007 from Sankt Martin to Lahnsteiner.

Bottled. Aroma has skunky, grassy german hops. Clear, golden coloured with a thin, white head. Taste is slightly sweet, a little bitter. Watery body., It has some grassy hops and some malt. Nothing special there.

Bottle, thanks to DerDoppelbock. Golden, low carbonation low creamy head. Grainy and heather nose. Light fruity malt base, good herbal profile. Medium to light chewy body. Hayish and herbal aftertaste.

(on draught at the student pub “Vorlesung”, Bochum) Clear and pale golden colour with a mid-sized steady foamy white head. Light-sweet grainy aroma with grassy hops. Slightly sweet malty and grainy taste, light to medium bodied, crispy carbonation, dry bitter finish with an unpleasant touch of grassy hops. Still drinkable.

On draught (@ Vorlesung, Bochum): Golden coloured, firm, creamy white head, sticking to the glass; grainy, clean, a bit bready nose witrh some hints of grassy hoppiness; slightly sweetish, moderate bitter flavour, creamy mouthfeel; sweetish, slightly bitter finish. Not overwhelming, but decent and pleasant....................
