Bottled. Gold-coloured and clear beer. Small white head look quite ok. Hoppy aroma is grassy, lemony and slightly herbal. Pale malts, some grains and a hint of light caramel in the finish. The falvor is dry and bitter. It is little short on malts. Long and bitter finish. The falvor is light to medium bodied and a bit thin. Low carbonation and stingy bitterness. Very bitter for a finnish beer that you can get from a grocery shop. Usage of hops is still somehow bulky and the elegance is missing. Quite drinkable and refreshing anyway.

Mild aroma of something nice but something very ordinary bulk lager.very watery, buttery and flat mouthfeel. Good hops. Bitter and toffee after taste. almost no carbonation. a bit confusing. bad as piss but at the same time has some good hoppy bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Deep golden color, frothy white head. Slightly metallic hop aroma with some grapefruit. Bitter, metallic flavor with unattractive hops and a dry finish. Medium-light body, medium-light carbonation. So far the least attractive beer from Laitila, though I’ve skipped on the notorious Mämmi...

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, on 2009-05-02) Golden and clear. Medium sized and white head that lasts for some time. Fruitiness and grass in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Fruitiness, grass, sweetness, bread, bitterness and dry hay in taste. Fruity and bitter aftertaste.

Draught@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grassy, dry and quite brutal harsh hoppyness. Flavour is big grassyness with some mild maltyness carrying it up. I like them hops, but not this way. Compared to the bottle below, this draught one was probably very spoilt. 4 2 4 2 7

Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Golden colour, mediumsized white head, nice lace. Aroma is grassy hops along with some flowery notes as well.Flavour is grassy hops with some flowery notes as well as maltyness carrying it up. A smooth and very balanced beer. 6 3 6 3 12

500 ml bottle. Clear golden yellow colour, thin white head. Citrus fruits and hops in the aroma. Dry, malty flavour with a long and bitter hoppy finish.

Draught (Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki)
Mid gold, tiny head. Some mushroom and swimming pool chlorine in the aroma. Slightly milky palate. Full-bodied and very malty. Well balanced and a really pleasant quaffer.

0.5 bottle from City-Market Kamppi, Helsinki. Deep golden color. Perfumed aroma with chamomile and toffee. The flavor is biscuity, toffeish and firmly bitter with fruity and grassy hoppiness. Hops give bitterness and mouthfeel but surprisingly little aroma and flavor. Good drinkability but needs more hop aroma.
