(Bottled) Clear golden with a medium, firm head. Citrusy-grassy hops in the fruity-malty aroma. Strongly bitter, lemony-fruity flavor with moderate maltiness, and a slightly ashy-dull, steam beer -like finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Really a world of difference between 2 bottles bought at the same time from the same shelf. Maybe some quality control issues, but I’m glad the second sample was ok (first was 6-3-5-3-12=2.9).

500 ml bottle. Aroma has really nice touch of hoppiness. Light golden body, light white head. Nice dry and crispy mouthfeel, long aftertaste. Hoppy grapefruit, extra bitterness, some grassy notes there. Overall great addition to Finnish beers.

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, on 2009-05-02) Golden and clear. Medium sized and white head that lasts for some time. Fruitiness and grass in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Fruitiness, grass, sweetness, bread, bitterness and dry hay in taste. Fruity and bitter aftertaste.

50cl bottle. Clear golden with coarse white head. Straightforward citric hoppy nose, lemon seeds, grass and grainy malts, little toast. Flavor is dry malts and mild citric fruits. Warming peppery and a tad minty finish with truly lingering grassy bitterness. Light bodied, average carbonation. Quite mild aroma hops for being dry-hopped, but the bitterness really bites. Probably Laitilas best beer to date.

500ml Bottle - Dark gold/amber in colour with a small head. Malty and hoppy aroma with hints of apple, tea and bubblegum. Fairly bitter and hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, tea and peach, followed by a grainy, malty and hoppy finish. A good effort and rather drinkable.
