Tap at Angleterre. Brown amber, no head. Nose is earthy, malty, some red vinegar maybe, rye? Flavor is bready, a bit sour, maybe vinegar here too. Hapankorppu, hapanvelli.. whatever those are in english. Alcoholic and sweet bread only come to mind, sour pea soup? Barnyard, cow droppings, rotting hay.. One of the funkiest beers I’ve had and couldn’t even finish the drink. Strange stuff, reminds me of some rye brews. Have to re-evaluate later.

Nov 26, 2009 Clear amber color, off-white head. Some nougat and malts, but pretty weak altogether. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. Not that good.

Nov 5, 2009 Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Amber color. Raisin and plums in the aroma and flavor. Sweet, grainy. Almost medium bodied. Sticky mouthfeel.

Nov 1, 2009 Bottled on 9/11/09. Clear copper, tight beige head. Faint brewing mash aroma, bready malts, candied sugar and rust, quite plain. Tangy, alcoholic flavor, turpentine, little pear, stodgy bready malts. Almost medium bodied, low’ish carbonatin. Dull and unclean, but there’s still a Märzen of some sort underneath.

Oct 27, 2009 500 ml bottle. Clear coppery orange colour, small off-white head. Malty and grassy-hoppy aroma with a notable and unpleasant presence of vegetables.The flavour is a little better: sweetish, bread-like malts and a mildly bitter hoppy finish. Not particularly good.

Clear reddish amber colour with small off-white head. Malt and vegetables (tomatoes) in aroma. Some hoppy bitterness in bready flavour. Strange beer. Makes you wonder what this suppose to be.

Oct 16, 2009 0.5 l bottle from Alko. Copper color with quickly vanishing head. Malty aroma with caramel and rye. Sweetish, malty, toasty and metallic flavor with caramel and rye. Bitterness is not strong but still somehow harsh. There is a very dull grainy sour rye bread flavor, I could hardly finish this beer.

Oct 10, 2009 Bottle (From Alko, Vaasa). Beautiful amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is tomatosauce along with hops, sweet malts and mild breadyness. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather sweet and a bit messy with the tomatosaucelike result.
