Nov 20, 2008 Red-black colored with little light brown head. Roasted-licoricy aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is also roasted with sweet licorice dominating, slight caramel also there. Aftertaste dries with roastiness still. Ok brew again from Laitila.

Clear orange brown coloured with a medium sized off white head.
Sweet aroma of caramel and rye bread with notes of butterscotsch.
Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits and rye bread with notes of hops.
Sweet and hoppy finish.

Nov 18, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of hanniku. Clear reddish brown with a small, beige head. A whiff of butter in the aroma combined with roasted malts. Medium body, plenty of roasted malt, a little vanilla. No real burned feeling. Finishes dry. Quite decent. 131108

Nov 1, 2008 Updated: Dec 6, 2008Bottled. Dark brown, almost black. Tiny beige head. Not much at all in the aroma, like a steam beer, but a bit of smoke. But the taste is great! Smoky, salty, lots of coffee and licorice. A bit short on the finish though.

Nov 1, 2008 Draught at Sadonkorjuu 2008, Porvoo. Bright mahagony color with big creamy head. Sweetish, toffeish, caramelly and nutty aroma. Sweetish bready, nutty, caramelly, toffeish and toasty flavor with some burnt charcoal character in the background. Pleasant and easy.

Deep ruby color, small tan head. Aroma has some toffee, diacetyl, light roasted malts and weak sour element. Medium-bodied with sparkling carbonation especially in the finish. Some cocoa, toffee and dark fruits in the flavor. Finish is less sweeter with dark malty flavors. Simple but quite tasty for being 4,5 % dark Finnish lager beer. In this beer there is something similar to what Mallaskosken Tumma Kuohu III used to be before they ruined the flavor.

Oct 29, 2008 500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges and a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with some fruity and coffee notes along with some slightly smoked elements. Sweetish taste with roasted malt and some hints of cold coffee. The finish is moderately bitter with more hints of coffee, raisins and some more smokey notes with a hint of treacle. Quite nice.

Oct 22, 2008 Bottle. Deep brown colour with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with notes of smoke and sweetness. The flavour is sweet, roasted and hoppy. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Decent schwarz.
