Not much at all in the aroma, like a steam beer, but a bit of smoke. But the taste is great! Smoky, salty, lots of coffee and licorice. A bit short on the finish though. Deep ruby color, small tan head. Aroma has some toffee, diacetyl, light roasted malts and weak sour element. Medium-bodied with sparkling carbonation especially in the finish. Some cocoa, toffee and dark fruits in the flavor. Finish is less sweeter with dark malty flavors. Simple but quite tasty for being 4,5 % dark Finnish lager beer. In this beer there is something similar to what Mallaskosken Tumma Kuohu III used to be before they ruined the flavor. SaintMatty (1236), Tallinn, Estonia
