Laitilan Kukko Lager III

500 ml can. Finland. Clear golden colour with small white head. Malty and bready with notes of sweet Laitilan vegetables in aroma. Malty and bready flavour with some hoppiness. And some vegetables again. Not the best brew from Laitila.

Malty and sweet, cardboard notes. A bit bready, slightly hoppy. Nothing wonderful but the new 12 pack format could see some use when I go out. Nicer than the other macros.

5/30/07 Helsinki, Finland. 50 cl can. Pale gold colour, thick foamy head. Bitter hop aroma, slightly sour taste with a smoother than expected finish.

[ Courtesy of Maria ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, cardboard notes, light hoppy, light yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081218]

Can. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Slightly tart, sweetish cereal aroma. Flavour is cereals with a bit of hops mucking about in the background, popping out now and again. Slight tart and yeast notes appear as it warms. Somewhat malty finish with a mild, lingering bitterness. Lingering cereal notes as well. Becomes dryish as it warms. Your average premium lager, I guess. 09-03-09.

0,33 l can. Golden color with big head. Pretty typical lager, but does rank well among Finnish lagers. I feel the body is somewhat greater than in the bulk lagers in this country.
