Sweet, lightly floral aroma. Taste is sweet malts and hops, with more bitterness than I’d expected. The bitter aftertaste lingers pleasantly. Beats the hell out of Finnish mass-market beers, at least.
Rerate: pushing up the rating, because Kukko Pils is one of the few good pilseners available in Finland at a reasonable price. And it doesn’t suffer from the same grassiness as Laitila’s Kukko Lager. Lalli (159), Helsinki, Finland

Note - the keg version is almost always incomparably better than the canned version. Don’t have the canned version if you can instead do the keg.
Gold, thin head. Slightly creamy aroma, slightly gingery and mashy, but raw and a bit vegetal. Fizzy in the mouth. Taste matches aroma, again creamy, some tangy hops, but alas vegetal. Ditto the finish. It’s good that they’ve stuck a good punchy flavour in this, but I can’t get past the vegetables. Miksu (2220), Jyväskylä, Finland
