Pale golden colored with fairly quickly dissipating, typical pils-white head. Delicious and sharp grassy hop aroma. Clean, hoppy flavor with light malty backbone and bitter finish. Medium carbonation. Well balanced, refreshing beer and a solid interpretation of pilsner style.

0,5 l can. Clear golden color, big white head. Sweet, lightly floral aroma. Taste is sweet malts and hops, with more bitterness than I’d expected. The bitter aftertaste lingers pleasantly. Beats the hell out of Finnish mass-market beers, at least. Rerate: pushing up the rating, because Kukko Pils is one of the few good pilseners available in Finland at a reasonable price. And it doesn’t suffer from the same grassiness as Laitila’s Kukko Lager.

Grassy aroma and yeasty malt flavor. Bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. A true pils. Excellent for what I expected to be a bland, flavorless, indistinguishable American Standard. This is noticeably different from other Finnish lagers, but it's a subtle distinction. Give this one a chance.

True pilsner aroma, the taste seems to differ a little for every batch. Strong hoppy, fruity aroma. One of the best industrial beers in Finland.

Golden coloured. Grassy hop aroma. Dry and salty with rather bitter finish. Plain but well made and refreshing.

500ml can. Straw with a white head; pleasant fruity hop aroma; quite bready body with a strongly hopped dry finish, almost salty and very moreish.
