Taste is fairly dry, has a distinct acidulous fruitiness along with notes of lightly toasted malt. A hoppy bite in the aftertaste. Rounded mouthfeel. Dry ending

Pours deep red-black with a nice, creamy, small, film head. Soft aroma, chocolate, lightly roasted - though overall a bit weak. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is a little metallic, then super dry, very roasted and pleasant hops. Good finish.

Sep 10, 2008 Bottle, 6.5%. Very dark brown colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is slightly sweet, quite roasted, but not bitter. Creamy flavour and mouthfeel. Low carbonation, quite pleasant. Very nice, subtle but flavourful.

Aug 28, 2008 500 ml bottle. Deep dark reddish brown colour, thin beige head. Nice roasted aroma with some chocolate. Burned malts, chocolate and some coffee in the flavour. Bitter finish.
