(Bottle) Pours dark brown. The aroma is medium roasted with tones of caramel, dark bread and light chocolate. Liquorice and sweet dark berries are also present. The flavour is light to medium roasted with tones of chocolate and light caramel alongside notes of liquorice, violet and some dark fruitiness. Bit hoppy and quite malty. Medium sweet and light bitter. The mouthfeel is soft with a light dry and sticky finish. Medium bodied.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Very black, small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Medium sweet with dense malt. Lots of heavily roasty ground coffee. Long salty bitterness. Typical Baltic Porter with it’s simple but powerful flavour, that otherwise less interesting brewers seem to master. This is really good! Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas are certainly moving in the right direction!

The aroma is stale, dusty fruits with tired malt components and some light treacle/molasses notes. The body is a ruddy dark brown and holds a wispy tan head. Flavor is toasted/roasted malts, molasses, caramel, lots of fruity esters and more full dark fruit notes. Interesting and fairly tasty.
