Keg (HBF2008)
Dusty earthy aroma. Rough hops, and creamy body. Hops stay for the finish. Some OK tastes, but spoilt by the rather unpleasant hops. (Compare their Pils, for example.) (4-2-4-3-7=2.0)
Rerate: 500ml bottle (OTR, Helsinki)
(5-4-6-4-11=3.0) Completely different brew - full-bodied and fairly tasty. Rich grains, decent roast, hops quite pleasant. liinis (721), Helsinki, Finland

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 24, 2008 A thin and fizzy tan head bubbles away quickly over a clear, maroon body. Initially the aroma seems a bit sharp -- crushed grass and carbonic acid. Thin malt begins to come along by way of Graham crackers and chestnuts. Very light coffee and toffee also come into play. The aroma feels somewhat empty and thin. Dry cracker sweetness with some astringency turns into a sharply grassy and acidic finish. Light to medium body with a slick, acidic texture and average carbonation. Seems to be missing the malty backbone one would expect from the appearance and there isn’t enough in the way of the hops to stir up intrigue in that direction either. 50cl can, bbe 11/09/2008. Fruity aroma with fruity roasted taste with hints of roasted coffee, chocolate and caramel with a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite a lot of flavour for the strength. Sweet aroma of dark malts. Malty flavour to the fore supported by grainy hints, slightly roasted. A bit thin palate, but well worth the taste (shared with Finn, Tromsø 06.09.2007). Brewed with wind power, it says on the can. I’d rather have it brewed with taste. I had an aquavit with this! berkshirejohn (1830), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
