Nov 15, 2007 Can 0.33 l. Golden color, slightly clayish nose. A cross between a pale ale and a pils. Moderately bitter, but lacks aftertaste. Pretty good, but a bit dry and maybe lacks personality.

Sep 2, 2007 A different pilsener, but I’m not sure it was intended by the brewer. In a blind tasting I would have placed it as a kind of pale ale due to the floral and spicy aroma with good fruity character from the yeast. A little bit too strong, the alcohol come through in the end, but absolutely drinkable

Aug 29, 2007 Can. Golden with an average head. Malty aroma, fresh and flowery. Taste a bit of alchol, but with a good, spicy finish.

Jul 3, 2007 Updated: Jun 23, 2008Big offwhite shiny lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Grainy rubbery aroma. Dry rubbery grainy taste with rubbery pea and straw notes, as well as some fruitiness. Soft, dusty mouthfeel, quite smooth. Some sweetness. Dry dusty peppery aftertaste with grassy notes. Quite good, and would be great without the rubber. (0.33l can, Alko, Helsinki. Second rating. First was bad.)

May 5, 2007 33cl can. Golden colour, small white head. Hoppy and slighty sweet aroma. The flavour has malt, grass and hops. Long bitter aftertaste. The best variety of Kukko I have tasted.

Aug 22, 2006 (Can BB 03/03/07) Hoppy, fruity and malty aroma. Golden colour, bright and average size, white, more or less fully diminishing head with fair lacing. Fruity, malty and moderately bitter flavour. Slightly metallic, softly carbonated and medium-bodied palate with a hint of alcohol. Good pils, which tastes slightly different than the class III version (Kukko Pils III). 01/08/06
