Compact of good persistence head. Yellow clearly color, much limpid and deprive of beads. Modest and light aroma with dry grass and alcohol notes. Lightly prickly taste, decidedly tinny and with good alcoholic tenor. Medium/short end with determined and extended bitter.

Apr 30, 2006 Dusty lager nose, gold color, foamy head. Creamy malt, sharp grassy bitter end - like the peel of a fresh date. Oily feel. Heavy body, but not balanced or under control. Not good overall.

Alcoholic sweet aroma with grassy hops.
Flavor likewise fairly sweet, with alcohol and grassy hops. Faint, short bitter finish.
Medium body, light carbonation, nice palate.
The alcohol has a distracting effect in this one. Certainly not as good as the standard Kukko Pils.

Oct 5, 2005 Canned. Clear golden, small head. Grassy hop aroma. Dry with crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Delightfully hoppy with good bitterness. A well made authentic German style pilsener.
