Commercial Description:
Intended to be a highly hopped, full-flavored beer. Based on the "American Pale Ale" style, but with more malt flavor. Using American grown hops and barley malted right here in Wisconsin, this is a beer that will make even the most discerning tongue tingle. Try just one and we think you'll agree that 'Once you've had hops, you'll never stop'.

Aroma: Grapefruit, pine, oatmeal, all in generous measure. Appearance: Hazy amber body, enormous off-white head, gobs of lacing all the way down the glass. Flavor: Worty malts take the lead, caramel, oatmeal, vanilla. A significant hop presence rounds gives an aromatic kick, pine, peppermint, black pepper. Finishes fruity, especially grapefruit. Palate: Smooth, peppery hops provide a warming sensation.

Pours a hazey copper colour with a two finger sized white head. Aroma is very floral, slightly piney with a strong hop presense. However taste is comfortable, smooth and citrusy with noticeable astrigent, citrus hop flavors. Overall, clean and fruity on the palate. Refreshing and delightful.

Pours a light cloudy copper color with a small filmy white head. Aroma is very light sweetness with some caramel and citrus. The flavor comes on a bit more strong with caramel but a less noticeable hop presence. Somewhat short and bitter astringent finish. Light to medium bodied, lively texture.

Copper hue with a one finger light orange head that lasts a couple of minutes. Aroma is not strong but is a pleasant blend of caramel and pine. First sip brings a harshness that could be from some dry hopping. Grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Hops increased in intensity as the glass warmed but this is a well balanced beer.

Single from Three Cellars Milwaukee. A good hit of hops and a nice full body. Only slightly bitter some bread hints.

This seemed like it may have been an old bottle because it had a funky aroma to it and there was very little bitterness left. Otherwise, I love the fact that this guy is working on such a small scale to create a quality craft beer. Though this wasn’t my favorite offering, it’s still not a bad beer, I just happened to grab an old bottle.

12oz bottle. Been sitting on this one for a while. Huge (3/4 of the shaker glass) head at first. Aroma is caramel malt, floral and citrusy hops. Taste is light caramel and biscuty malt with a pretty floral & citrus hop profile. Bitterness is right for an APA, which is pleasingly bitter, but certainly nowhere over the top. Balanced finish. Not sure why I had a crazy gusher (probably a priming issue), but this was a middle of the road APA and I am enjoying it.

Hazy amber with medium lacy off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops mixed with a little bready malt. Taste is caramel and malty at first followed by a light citrus and pine hop burst at the end that leaves a dry, very mildly bitter finish.
