Hop flavor doesn’t stay in the mouth too long. Color is light amber wiht a nice tight head with some lace. Great example of an APA, without trying to be in your face. This is a great beer. deschepp (5), USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 20, 2005 Strong cascade aroma poured from the bottle. Clear with a light amber color. Immediate flavor tapering to an even finish. Light body with a little malt-sweetness. I like this beer. GoPackJo99 (16), Oregon, Wisconsin, USA

It was a very light flavored beer and had a nice hops aftertaste. It did have some black sediment in it but again the flavor rocked! murrayswine (101), Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 27, 2006 This has taken over as my go to session beer!
It pours a golden-amber hue with a good full head that doesnt quit.
The smell is hops like hell, high bite citrus, green hop freshness, and a hint of candy sweetness.
The taste is hops almighty! Eat your hart out Alpha King, this bad boy is gunning for yah!
Folks this is all hops balance with even more hops with a touch of soft cream and a hint of yeast, if you arent a serious hop-o-holic, than pass, but if you’re like me, well then HELL YAH!

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Aroma: Grapefruit, pine, oatmeal, all in generous measure. Appearance: Hazy amber body, enormous off-white head, gobs of lacing all the way down the glass. Flavor: Worty malts take the lead, caramel, oatmeal, vanilla. A significant hop presence rounds gives an aromatic kick, pine, peppermint, black pepper. Finishes fruity, especially grapefruit. Palate: Smooth, peppery hops provide a warming sensation. howie (549), DeForest, Wisconsin, USA

Big citric, pine resin cascade aroma. Pale maltiness is light enough to make this a great session, but provides something to offset the heavy hopping. Very well balanced. A great session APA for cascade fans like me. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2006 Thanks to Mark for the bottle. The body is medium amber with a long lasting thin white head. Teh aroma is fresh bread with some pancakes and a little bit of grapefruit. This smells liek it is on the more malty end of the spectrum. The taste has some medium grapefruit with roasted peanuts. There is also some toasted bread crust in the finish. Good stuff, a great session style bee.r
