Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of oranges, spices - especially coriander and yeast. The flavor is also sweet malty with strong notes of fruity esters, yeast, and spices - again especially coriander, leading to a dry spicy finish. Nice triple.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of yeast and some banana. Quite full-bodied with plenty of fruit and yeast. Warming alcohol in the finish that also is a little astringent bitter. Starts off prety nice but ends a little crude. 210308

12oz bottle acquired in a trade with The_Enemy (thanks!). Poured a medium amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas of spices, fruits (apricots & apples), and sugary. Tastes follows the same as the aromas. Some alcohol in the finish. All around sweet.

Deep amber color with islands of cream colored bubbles floating about. Buttery butterscotch, brown sugar, toffee and a hint of floral hops in the aroma. Flavors of light butter toffee, toasted almonds. Smooth, yet a nice touch of CO2 to perk things up. Light fruitiness with an apple skin tartness follows. Much closer to a dubbel.

22 oz bottle. Yep, its more like a dubbel, but its wonderful any way you slice it. Dark amber, clear medium head; just fabulous vanilla caramel coffee aromas, very strong sweet and complex. Buttery sweet, full and yeasty on the tongue, smooth lasting full finish.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Bob McFarland Liquors in McFarland, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind some bubbles and a thin ring. Aroma of Belgian yeast, caramel malt, roasted nuts and some spicey herbal hops. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation and a very tart caramel flavor with some spicey apples and pears. Plus, plenty of alcohol warmth. Finish is slightly tart, fruity, orange peel and plenty of bitterness and alcohol burn. I’m guessing this is packed with at least 9% alcohol.

On tap at GTMW. Poured a light, hazy medium caramel with a tall cap of off-white head. Aroma picked up soapy and dusty white pepper first, with toffee and caramel sweetness not far behind.. soft, sweet, and semi-enjoyable overall. Flavor had a sweet toffee and caramel middle again with spicy white pepper, cloves, and orange peel surrounding the tongue.. quite tasty with a sweet orange peel and toasty toffee finish. Medium-bodied and sweeter overall.. OK balance. Decent brew.
