12oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Enemy (thanks!). Poured a dark brown color with a small sized tan head. Aromas of chocolate, smoke, roasted malts, and some lactose. Tastes of roast, chocolate, lighter lactose, and light caramel. Dry finish.

Poured a hazy, dark brown color with a small, light tan head that left clingy lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoke, chocolate, light caramel, and roasted malts. Taste of milk chocolate, vanilla beans, and a dry, roasty finish.

Poured with little or no head, sweet chocolate aroma, first sip was like an old time drug store chocolate soda only smoother, silky smooth texture, creamy sweetness got just a little bitter towards the end. An excellent sweet stout, I liked it better than Mackesons

Thanks to hopdog. Pours a darker brown with a smaller tan lacing head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and wood. Flavor of roastiness, coffee, cocoa and a nice mouthfeel.

Bottle thanks to The_Enemy. Pours nice and dark, though at the edges it looks more like cola than a typical stout. Good slightly tan head. Very sweet on the nose, with hints of fruit, mollassas and, well, milk. In the mouth, the initial impression is of espresso, but just a hint. In fact, it took a bit to identify the flavor because it was so subtle, and for me at least that detracted from the experience. Overall, this isn’t a very full-flavored beer, tending to weak and watery. Medium bodied, with more carbonation than I like in my stouts. I’m glad I tasted it, but I probably wouldn’t seek it out again (nor would I turn it down if offered).

Courtesy of The_Enemy <P> Aroma is light cream, chocolate and molasses. Body is black with a frothy two finger thick tan head. Flavor is thinnish...light coffee, molasses, brown sugar notes some chocolate and a bit watery. Palate isn’t super thin, but the watery flavors make it appear thinnish. Finish is very smooth and creamy and leaves a mild bready sweetness int he aftertaste.

12oz bottle via trade with Duane! - Thanks Duane! - Pours black with a nice short creamy offwhite head. Aroma is robust roasted coffee and light chocolate. Flavor is mostly coffee and roasted malts. Somewhat one dimensional and bitter but tasty and pleasant. Palate is thinner for a stout but still very drinkable.. A little more to the watery side but not excessively so. A pretty tasty stout..

Pours a nice dark color with a chocolately stouty aroma. Flavor of roasted malt and dark chocoloate with a very smooth texture and a medium body. Very good!
