Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and light notes of chocolate. The flavor is acidic malty combined with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry, acidic, and roasted finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a hazy and opaque orangey brown with a tall, rough and bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with a heavy carbonation and an underlying acidity that indicates an infection. Lightly burned malt bitterness in the finish. 220808

12oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Enemy (thanks!). Poured a dark brown color with a small sized tan head. Aromas of chocolate, smoke, roasted malts, and some lactose. Tastes of roast, chocolate, lighter lactose, and light caramel. Dry finish.

Shared at the Tosa Tasting courtesy of DavidP: Pours a barely transparent dark brown with a thin light tan head. Interesting aroma of grassy lactose, milk chocolate and baked sugar cookies. Has a candy-like light fruitiness toward the start with some lingering grainy crystal and chocolate malt flavor. Finishes semi-sweet and roasty. An enjoyable sweet stout, thanks Dave!

Bottle, shared by papsoe. A reddish dark brown beer with a big diminishing tan head. Slightly sourish nose with caramel and roasted malt. A bit dusty, with some dried fruits in the background. Roasted malt and caramel base flavor, with a little sourish, lemony and dusty touch. Medium to full body and a quite sour finish. Probably a little infection going on, at least my sample didn’t feel fresh. (080822)
