12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a 2/3 finger thick white head. Faint lacing. Aroma is grain and spice with a touch of yeast. Flavor is light citrus, lightly sweetened malt, and light spice. No unpleasant aftertaste. Light to medium body. No major flaws. A very drinkable beer. Thanks Bill.

when small breweries attempt obscure styles like a saison you often come up with total failure and horrid car wrecks. other times you get such an odd ball that you cant get your head around it. this is the latter. there is a strange note in the nose that i cannot place for the life of me. possibly caramel corn, something nearly savory, nearly sawdust. it returns in the flavor along with a nice mellow lemon note, plenty of yeast character as well. body is a bit thin which is confounding since the carb is in place. a fun beer and far from disaster, id drink it again.

bottle from bockyhorsey... saison? idk... wit, maybe. it smells and tastes a whole lot like blue moon. or, at least what i remember it tasting like. loads of dusty wheat, earth, orange, banana, clove, coriander and yeast characteristics in both the aroma and flavor. the finish is fairly acidic and there is a mild sourness throughout. it is light/medium bodied with a high level of carbonation...but not high and soft. it is fairly brutish. it poured hazy blonde with a soft off white head. i’m not sure what to make of this... hybrid? 6/3.5/5/3/12/3.0

12oz bottle pours a light yellow witha huge foamy head. Lemons, candy, and Belgian spices in the nose. But any expectations of depth falls flat when the watery lemonade hits your tongue. Spice is light. Meh, nothing special.

From the bottle, pours a clear yellowish with rising bubbles and a rather thick white head. Smells corny, non-descript. Taste starts good though not spectacular, with flavors of light malts, corn, figs, water, with a similar aftertaste. Light bodied, this one’s ok.

Thanks to terminus for picking this one up for me. Pours hazy yellow with a good sized white head. The aroma has phenolic spice, chamomile, apple / peach fruitiness, hints of hops and lively Belgian yeast notes. Medium clean crisp body with some minor sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with all of the aroma notes with lots of fruit and spice along with spicy hops. The finish is clean, dry and has a nice dry spiciness. Nice beer.

Bottle bought in Wis. Coriander and spice upfront on the nose some fruit near finish. Hazy gold body with white head that went flat quick. Thick sticy spice coriander flavor to start with and hard to drink. Hard cany spice mellowed out near middle of beer a fuity flavor along with sourness and spice made this on drinkable. From the way it started was about to drain pour it.

light gold pour. white head. aroma of lemon meringue pie, tangerine peels and granny smith apples. flavor is full of lemon, orange, coriander and wheat. Flavors are a bit over the top, but it still is a pretty tasty beer. A bit much on the carbonation as well.
