Commercial Description:
This is a smooth, full-bodied beer. A rich "nuts & berries" flavor followed by a coffee-like finish. Based on the traditional English Porter beers ofthe late 1800's. Originally created for Irish immigrants working the shipping docks in England. They were a hard working lot who wanted a "stout" style brew with more alcohol content to drink during their all too short lunch breaks.

Pours a dark brown with thick tan head that quickly fades. Smells of a sharp roasted coffee aroma and a bit of fruitiness as well. Tastes nutty with the fruitiness I smelled followed with a jagged coffee flavor. Almost like eating a coffee bean. This beer then effortlessly slides down your throat with it’s creaminess. This is a very well down porter.

This porter pours a medium to dark brown color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is chocolate and fruity. A medium bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and fruity. Hops are slightly earthy. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

malt aroma with some chocoalte, some almond and walnuts, and some malts. flavor has only a hint of coffee, but that;s aight, this isn’t a stout. nice chocolate malty flavor, with the nuttyness still present. a decent session porter if there is such a thing, lol

This one pours a ruby black. The flavor is a sweet roast malt. This is definitely not as good as the saison but it’s still not a bad little beer.

A solid thick brown color to it with an off white head. Aroma is very smooth nutty and chocolate. Body is much the same, solid porter.

Black body with a hint of ruby at the edge. The head is foamy and dark khaki colored. The aroma is milk chocolate with some walnuts. There is also some light coffee in the back ground. The taste is coffee with some hazelnuts and a little bit of dark chocolate. There is also a slightly salty finish. A nicely made porter, but a little thin in the body.

picked up a 12 oz. bottle at Riley’s while in Madison, WI yesterday. chocolate-coffee aroma. very dark brown on the pour with a tan head and a ring of lace which lasts well into the drink. flavor is more of the chocolate & coffee with some nuts and hops. nice porter!

Very Dark pour, foamy light brown head. Nose was Malts and a hint of sour. Taste was typical porter, a bit watery, but a very nice bitter finish. Good brew.
