May 1, 2005 04.23.05 Tap at TAP NY. Hazy amber brown, lacy tan head. Peaty and smoky aromas, some vanilla, some maple smoke. Lots of salty peanuts as well as burnt peanuts. Creamy and nice body never gets old. Money. Spicey to finish with a hint of alcohol heat. Excellent.

Apr 26, 2005 Tap NY, and perhaps my personal BOS. Orange, tan head. Aroma is malty fruity, slight vanilla and alcohol, with slight smoke. Massive sticky malty flavor. Slight root beer note. Malt bludgeons the palate!
