IPFreely (1470), Niagara Falls, New York, USA Aug 15, 2005 On tap, Pizza Plant, Williamsville ; Transit location. Lighter copper in color, full and firm cream colored head. Quite fruity, lots of malt, pineapple, bubblegum, very mild spice as well as a bit of must. I can’t emphasize the pineapple and bubblegum enough, though. Medium bodied with a refreshing Belgian quality to it. This beer straddles the line between Belgian Ale, Saison and Biere de Garde. It really has characteristics of all three and I was perplexed as to what style to add it as (especially because Lake Placid doesn’t seem to respond to their email). Very tasty, I’d like to see this again somewhere.
