| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Had a sample and wanted to try full bottle. Courtesy of ughsmash was able to do so. Sweet malt along with some carmel and pale citrus fruit. Deep amber body with good head and good lacing. Flavor had a malt backbone that produce caramel thickness and a sugary pepper bitter nes was also fighting for some attention. Easy on the palate and enjoyable brew from Badger land. Thanks Jason. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Hazed and orangish amber in color with tan phlegm on top. Munich, minerals and saaz strike the nose. Caramel cubes, oats and bran slide in for a somber secondary reflex to the olfactory. The liquid lays in lightly with a falsetto flavor of ginger glazed brown bread and oats. Cinnamon and white pepper hide in a nougat as a dry, earthen and chafing hop flavor and bitterness work against it. Soft carbonation is amplified by the buoyant bitters. Gummy peanut brittle and a maple talc dust over hazelnuts emit a dual identity as the substance slides for home. TomDecapolis (3218), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Pours a transparent copper orange with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and some earthy piny hops. Body starts fairly full and light fruity sweet with some earthy bitterness before a more bitter, dry finish. A decent brew, but I don’t think I’m gonna buy more than one bottle at $8.50/22oz.
