Bright gold appearance with a small, off white head. Fruity, sweet malt, biscuit-like aroma. Taste is sweet malt, gently hopped, with hints of lemon, honey and toffee. Nicely carbonated, medium bodied mouthfeel. Sweet, long lasting finish. The allusion to a ’doppelbock’ in the commercial description seems a bit of a stretch.

a very bad beer IMO. some carmel, some lemon zest, apple, and a hint of spice. the spice gave it a weird funk that didn’t mesh with the rest of the brew though... i don’t know it was rough going down.

(Bottled on 1/17/2007) Fresh tasting spritzy lager with a nice and spicy hop character. Very Dormunderish in flavor profile. Nice and dry, which make for good drinkability. Good dose of Pils malt. Nice surprise here.

(12oz bottle, bottled 3rd week of January) Naturally I’m drinking this one on Mardi Gras. Medium off-white head atop crystal clear apple juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some cookie, light floral, lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some herbal, light lemon. Alcohol readily apparent. Watery medium body with some stickiness.
