thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 26, 2008 This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored quickly diminishing bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a transparent very softly carbonated caramel brown colored body. The aroma was of sweet caramel and brown malts. It was tingly from start to finish and very crisp. The flavor contained notes of sweet caramel malts and was only mildly like other bocks I’ve had. s_creigh (198), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 1, 2008 Pours a color more like an amber. Small that that went away quickly with no lacing at all. Malty aroma with a hint of molasses or brown sugar. Taste is more of the same. Nothing too special here but drinkable. hotstuff (3012), Indiana, USA May 28, 2008 Bottle. Very small tan head that fully lasted, splotchy amounts of lacing, transparent, carbonation observed, and a reddish orange hue. The aroma was malt, caramel, sweet, and some breadiness. Ditto for the flavor. Slightly tingly mouthfeel and mediuim bodied. Quaffable, very easy to drink, did not get any roasty aroma or flavor, nothing truly special given the style, better to be had of this style, and a beer that is easy to forget IMO. BelgianBeerGal (846), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 21, 2008 Updated: May 24, 2008Bottled. Pretty good. Fairly well developed except for a thin short finish that reminded me of orange juice? Very easy to drink. Colour, aroma and initial taste were spot on for a dunkel bock. patrick767 (1377), fort wayne, Indiana, USA May 18, 2008 bottle - Pours clear, dark amber with a thin white head. The mild aroma is mainly of roast malt. The flavor is again mostly sweet roast malt with just a little toffee in there, but the character of the malt in this one didn’t really do it for me. It seems kind of off. I’m left with the impression of a simple, light brew that’s adequate, but that’s it.
