Commercial Description:
Made with three styles of fresh American hops and fruity ale yeast that requires greater fermentation, it finishes with a dark amber appearance, spicy hop flavor and bold, malty backbone. The punch this potent brew packs reminds us all that when you want to make a point, you're better off making a statement.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, resin, pine, alcohol, caramel malt, and a little plastic. Poured dark copper with a hint of amber in color and a large, creamy, dense, rocky, tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, resin, salt, pine, caramel malts, and toffee. Medium to full body. Smooth, creamy texture. Average carbonation. Resinous, slightly dry finish.

Bottle.Dark copper, not much of a head.Aroma a strong mix matl and hops. Thick and creamy to the palate. Flavor is a malt start, hop middle and a finish that is a mix of alcohol and spices. A very good beer.

Big props to Skyview for bringing this back for us all! Dark copper color with a thin head. Plenty of citrus and caramel aroma. Much more of the same flavor. Slightly astringent bitterness towards the finish. Chewy and nearly bready.

The aroma is hoppy with caramel malt. The appearance is amber brown with a large head. The flavor is bitter and sweet. The palate is thin. Overall it’s pretty good.

This was the best beer at Locust Street Day by far. Esters of grapefruit dominate. However, some that I’ve had since have not been as good.

Pours deep coppery with ruby highlights and 3-fingers of off-white head. Nose is toasty caramel malt, hops, brown sugar, spicy yeast, figgy fruit. Tastes very hoppy, with caramel malt, brown sugar, figgy fruit, port, berries, and some spicy notes. Palate is rich, complex, malty, hoppy, and fruity, with a nice balance. My 2 year old daughter smelled this and said, "Strawberry" Indeed.

22oz bottle. Clear auburn with a two finger yellowish beige head, good retention. Resiny pine and spicy hops up front with some scorched caramel, brown sugar and raisins in the background. Flavor pretty well follows suitwith the pine, caramel and raisins dominating, and the addition of some woody notes. Semi-dry finish with bitterness peaking around a 4. Alcohol masked well until it warms up then it tastes like all of its 8%. Burps pine and pineapple. Smooth full body with light to moderate carbonation. Pretty good beer, though it seems a lot like many ASA?s I?ve had.
