Commercial Description:
Made with three styles of fresh American hops and fruity ale yeast that requires greater fermentation, it finishes with a dark amber appearance, spicy hop flavor and bold, malty backbone. The punch this potent brew packs reminds us all that when you want to make a point, you're better off making a statement.

This one surprised me, in a good way. Poured deep ruby-red with lofty and lasting head that left behind sticky, foamy lace. Mouthfeel was full, creamy and smooth. Rich malt flavors were full of dark toast, nuts, and woodsy molasses. Hops were zingy and electric, with snappy twinges of pine, grass, weeds and orange peel. Healthy amount of bitterness balanced well with the sweetness. Surprisingly good beer.

Pours with a huge cream head.. . pours a dark brown colour .. . fantastic lacing.. . seashell with molasses hops and burnt match in maple Aromas .. . Pretty smooth, abv seems on the ball, some slight heat but you can’t feel it,.. . his name is james.. . I love the label.. . Nancy Grace is a looney tune!... A pretty aggressive brew, and quite easy to drink, nice work by Lakefront... .

Bottle from Bottle Trek via an internet order. Poured a dark amber color. Spicy hoppy flavor with a malty backbone. Just didn’t sit right on the palate for me. Unbalanced. Average brew!!

Pours a somewhat hazy dark amber/ruby color. Big thick long-lasting off-white head. Very spicy grapefruit and sweet malt aroma. Well balanced sweet roasted malt, caramel, butter and citrus flavor. Big hop bitterness without being a distraction. Alcohol warmth expresses itself after the swallow, but once again, not over done. A top notch strong ale!

Pours a dark amber/brownish color with a off white head. Great aromas of hop with some caramel malt backing. Hints of alcohol from the aroma hints to big, bold brew. Flavor is of floral hops nicely balanced by the malt. Some fruitiness buried in there as well. Seems to be heavy on the carbonation as well. Alcohol makes its presents known in the middle of this brew as well. Nice Bitter finish Great tummy warmer!,

Dark caramel brown with a nice thick light tan head that has very good retention. Aroma is caramel with a big load of pine and floral hops. This is a well hopped beer and could make some double IPAs envious. There is also plenty of sweetness with citrus, roasted malt, caramel, faint chocolate. Alcohol is apparent in the aroma and flavor. There is also some significant dry bitterness that is felt in the back of the throat. If you like Double IPAs you will like this beer. A very big beer. I visited this brewery and had a BLAST and don’t normally think of it as a brewer of big beers. I might have to rethink.

22oz bottle 4/28/09 (Discount Liquor-Milwaukee)-Pours a dark amber with a nice tight off white head. Aroma of floral hops, malt, and caramel. Taste begins with hops and malt that linger throughout and it finishes with a lot of malt and a bit of citrus. This medium bodied brew is a lot of flavors all balanced nicely. Nice job.

Bottle courtesy of IronOrr. Copper body. Hoppy, floral nose. Very perfumy. Caramel notes in the aroma as well. Taste is hoppy with light citrus notes, herbal flavors, sweet fruit, caramel, and floral and earthy hop notes. There’s a sort of minty flavor to this at times. Body is medium with soft carbonation. The finish is more citrus notes, earthy and floral hops, light spice, caramel, orange peel, herbal flavors and some dark fruit.
