Commercial Description:
Made with three styles of fresh American hops and fruity ale yeast that requires greater fermentation, it finishes with a dark amber appearance, spicy hop flavor and bold, malty backbone. The punch this potent brew packs reminds us all that when you want to make a point, you're better off making a statement.

Source: 22 oz bottle purchased in Atlanta at Greens.
Appearance: Dark amber color with ruby highlights. Two finger cream colored head. Lots of lacing..
Aroma: Caramel malt with pine and citrus hops. Hops dominate the nose.
Flavor: Solid malt base, but the hops are dominant. Spices, grapefruit and pine are present.
Palate: Full body with medium carbonation and a slick mouthfeel.
Overall: Very impressive. Agree with the comparison to Stone AB. Wish I had bought more of this.

22 oz bottle pours a hazed copper brown body with a medium khaki head. Aroma of malty caramel opens but is quickly eclipsed by a ton of hops-pine, spiciness, and citrusy grapefruit and orange. Medium body is creamy, with moderate carbonation. Taste has some bold hopping. Grapefruit and pine lead the way, with spicy notes and some blood orange. Solid malt backbone of brown sugar and caramel. Similar to Stone’s Arrogant Bastard in a lot of ways. Nice effort.

Balance. This is a beer that has it. Good hop experience but malt flavor is also there, i was looking for a hoppy beer and this seemed to meet the search but also has a nice malt taste. Good beer. If you are a hophead it will satisfy you, and if you like matly beer it probably will like it as well. Pours a nice deep copper color, aroma was hoppy, head was about mediun. Good mix of hops and malt.

Hazy dark brown with a tall, choppy tan head. Malty aroma is full of fruit, some raisins, with just a touch of citrus from the hops. Sweet fruity flavor delivered with a full body.

Picked this 22 oz. at Greens Buford Highway. Nice dark brown slightly ruby in color. Nice off-white tan head. Looks like a good beer. Has a nice hop aroma. Slight malt aroma. Beer has average texture. Bitter, but not very malty. Has a nice hop flavor, but there could always be more.

Dark mahogany color with a medium off-white head leaving some lacing behind. Big hopped up nose, spicy and citrusy hops, lots of sweetness to it. Flavor has underlying chocolate, soft of chocolate covered cherry note to the finish. Caramel and citrus from the hops make a nice blend. Finish is bitter, maybe a touch to much, but still the malt sweetness cut through a bit keeping it from being to sharp of a bitterness.

Aroma is strong and rather hoppy, but not fiercely so, with a subtle fruity undertone. It pours a clear dark coppery amber with a fairly thick, slightly yellow beige head. Flavor is hoppy but not too bitter, and has a firm undertone of orange. Texture is thick, smooth and fizzy, leaving a hop-bitter aftertaste.
