Commercial Description:
This recipe is a true craft ale brewed with only water, yeast, hops and malted barley, in keeping with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. We have designed it with a vibrant golden amber hue and a refreshing body. The mild addition of Kent Golding hops balances the generous amounts of caramel malts to give it a malty rather than a bitter finish. A special strain of California Ale Yeast gives the brew a slight hint of fruity aroma.

Pretty apple cider gold hue. Light body, low carbonation with little hop character. Slightly sweet on the palate.

Medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is mild and floral hops. A medium bodied mild ale. Mild flavored malts are fruity, caramel and a touch sweet. Hops are mild and slightly floral and earthy. Light flavored, if it wasn’t a mild ale, it would be really bland as it is it only a little bit bland tasting. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is neutral.

Probably my least favorite Lakefront. Not bad. but more or less soulless. Lack of any bitterness whatsover, implying very little hop flavor, aroma, or body.

Paler yellow than the Klisch, more apparent carbonation. State urine in a subway (for an aroma)...is it New York? Maybe London? Maybe Paris? Whichever, it is a watery, mildly-flavored beer with just a few hints of something minty jumping out at me.

Bottle. Very unpleasant nose-smells like mildewy hay. Body is a dark straw with no head. Tastes like watered down soured apple juice. Kinda thin but not too thin. Sour.

Lightish golden/amber color, short white head. Very light aromas of fruit, herbal/floral hops. Juicy maltiness and a substantial body. Manages a nice balance making this very drinkable.

Slight cloudy gold with little to no head. Not a lot of nose with some fruit being the primary note. Light with strong acid and sour finish. Little or no good flavor with citrus and faint hops being the main ones. Finish has an odd grassy quality that is not the most pleasant flavor. I’ll pass.

You can tell its going to be sweet just by the aroma, light but distinct malt taste, forget any hoppiness. Light refreshing, more like a lager than an ale, but to sweet to be one. Price wise its a good beer to serve to the softball team after a couple games
