Commercial Description:
This top fermenting amber-colored ale is brewed using generous amounts of malt and kettle hops. The trademark of this ale is its beautiful hop bouquet and taste that comes from a liberal dry hopping of the highest grade Cascade hops during the secondary fermentation. The malt firmness of this ale comes from the perfect mixture of two-row malted barley, carapils, and caramel specialty malts. The ale has an original gravity of 1060 and is fermented at 65 degrees farenheight which imparts the classic ale fruitiness to the brew.

12oz bottle from a 8pk sampler. amber color, saw dust colored head. great lacing. flavors of pale malt. Sharp heavy hitting bitter finish. Goes down for like an IPA. Medium bodied, which is heavy for An American Pale Ale.

Bottle; Poured a clear brownish amber, with small to medium off white creamy head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus/orange and fruit. One of the better versions of the style that I have had in a while. Very drinkable, and tasty. Slightly hopping ending, but nothing too strong. Plenty of caramel malt and citrus in the flavor.

Pours a golden amber with a thin white head. Citrusy hops in the nose, some sugary malt. Flavor is fairly dry and hoppy with a clean finish. Not a bad pale ale at all.

Had this after the beer tour while enjoying the fish dinner upstairs. I am not a hophead so it will probably lose some points with me. It was a dry beer with plenty of hop and a hint of malt. Nice aroma.

Well, THIS time, this beer is just killer. Super drinkable: not too fruity or coy. Solid pale ale. Very well balanced. good head and lace. nice Amber color. Had this on draft at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin USA. Available in bottles too.

12 Oz Bottle. A touch of resinous Cascade orange zest and candy with some fragrant pickling spice. Light spruce. Gentle and restrained. Pours a middle amber gold, with a rim of off-white. Flavor is a more bold enumeration of the Cascade presence, with nice hop flavor, resin sugars and tangy creamed hot cereal. A bit bitter from the front, but mellows into a long grass draw. A bit too sweet for a Pale Ale for my tastes. Hop flavor utilization seemed well done, yet didn’t meld well with the malt character and again, a bit underattenuated. Otherwise, a fair show.

12 oz. bottle part of the variety 8 pack - Pours a light brown color with a one and a half finger thick off white head. Faint lacing. Has that obvious Casacade hop aroma with a touch of caramel malt in the background. Flavor is citrus hops and caramel malt. Medium body. No unpleasant aftertaste. A decent, easy drinking PA.
