Must say that it was easy to drink. Not as dry as their other offerings, which was nice. Decent. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

Smooth, creamy, cookie dough flavor, plenty of hop citrus, good bitter bite in the finish but well balanced with a toasted malty aftertaste. obisbeer (558), Barcelona, Spain

Nose of apricot, citrus, peach, and orange. Nice prickle, with piney hops, citrus, slight creamy mid w/clean refreshing finish. Overall dry with a slightly bitter hop finish. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 10, 2004 Color of deep cream soda. A nice hoppy aroma balanced with some malt. Great flavor, hops and sweet malt delivered on a bed of bitterness. This is a great example of what a pale ale should be, a balanced beer with first hops then malt, and its not overdone anywhere. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2004 Red orange color. Very nice fluffy white head is mostly diminishing, leaving a thick, puffy ring around the edge of the glass and thin patches of lacing. Syrupy-sweet caramel malts and Cascade hops dominate the aroma (which is rather light). Flavor starts rather sweet, the chewy malts being most prevalent, and then turns moderately bitter as the hops rear their pine-coney little heads. Glassy, lightly metallic finish underneath the waning hop bitterness. A tad thin on the palate, yet not overly so. A solid example of the style. I would drink this again. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2004 Clear medium amber with a medium diminishing off white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, red apple, apricot and bread. Medium slightly velvety body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nice flavor of biscuits, caramel, pine, grapefruit and bread. It doesn’t blow me away, but the flavor is well balanced. Lots of things to like about this one, but it is a little boring. However, it can be nice to have something that isn't over the top. Very good.
