Commercial Description:
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee's reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Fizzy soda-pop like carbonation, thin watery appearance and hardly anything on the nose. Sad and lifeless on the palate. Some slight acidity and sourness lead me to believe that an infection is just starting to take over. I can’t believe how watery this is? I really have to go searching deep for any aroma or flavours of anything that resembles coffee. They say five specialy grain were used, but how can anyone tell with such a small amount used? I find myself leaning towards depression with each sip of this I take. Come on Russ you can do better than this!

12oz bottle. Black pour, small tan head that quickly recedes and leaves a brown ring around the edge of the beer. Notes of coffee, cocoa, dark malts, dark fruits, some booze and sugar. Flavors are the same, adding some cream and a touch of watery stale coffee. Thin to medium bodied, sticky palate, soft carbonation. FInish is watery, medium in length, then a nice amount of roast at the very end. Meh.

looks nice with a large creamy brown head and a black body with lots of lacing. aroma could be more robust but has some coffee notes and chocolate. creamy palate with some sweet milk chocolate and a bitter biting coffee presence. thin palate. finishes too quick for a stout. too much raw coffee notes. not sweet.

Sharp, creosote, plummy fruit, chocolate and char aroma. Opaque brown-black beer with a big spongy dark tan head that collapses. Hmm... earthy tasting, watery feeling, loses carbonation. Some green nuts, medium-light tartness. FInishes fairly quickly and doesn’t cling. Needs work. Thanks to PorterPounder for the trade.

Dark brown with light brown foamy head. Subtle roasted chocolate coffee aroma. Was expected something stronger from the name. Nice solid flavor though. Chocolate coffee, bittersweet, smooth, medium bodied, finishes dry, not too shabby but kind of thin for a stout.

Bottle: Pours very dark and black with a very thin light brown head. Weak but nice aroma of coffee and cream and malt. Flavor is like weak cold coffee mixed with beer. The coffee is noticeable but mellow. Light malt flavor. Not much roastyness either. Most porters are as roasty or more than this. Light hop bitterness is detectable. The body is extremely watery. One of the worst stouts i have had in awhile.

Strong coffee aroma and taste. Not as sweet as some sweet stouts. Black color, medium head, medium body.

Coffee aroma, bakers chocolate. Pours dark brown yet thin with no head. Very weak flavor, coffee and chocolate, very thin. Over all dissapointing.
