Dec 30, 2004 Bottle Pours a clear rather dark redish brown with a dense light tan head. Lots of fine lasting lacing. Quite a lot of sweet spice and orange aromas. Like candy almost. Mulled. Tart dry spicy flavor. Cinniman, cloves, honey and some apple cider flavors. Feel is soft carbonation and finish is sweet and clean. Some trainlng bitterness. A nice surprise. Thanks again to MrFacto

Dec 28, 2004 Bronze color. Delightful mulled cider aroma, orange is especially there, with alcohol, spice (cinnamon). Moderately sweet. Maintains an excellent palate, in part from the alcohol, in part from the spice, and in part from the carbonation. When warming from the fridge it reveals a more basic caramel note that tops the profile. Not bad at all, indeed, a real surprise.

Dec 22, 2004 Spicest aroma I’ve ever encountered in a beer,nutmeg cinnimon, ginger,taste is spicey but not overpoweringly so,thought it would taste like a tea,but it was more like a Captain Morgan smooth and strong, a couple of these and you can handle any crowded mall

Dec 18, 2004 The aroma is very ’holiday spice": nutmeg, cinnamon etc. It’s clear brown with a nicely done spicy flavor. The alcohol is well hidden. This is a very enjoyable spiced beer.

Dec 12, 2004 Aroma is heavy spices like nutmeg and orange with some light alcohol. Beer pours dark copper with a rapidly diminishing off white head. Flavor is very spicy somewhat akin to my mother’s pumpkin bread, but with honey. Very interesting enjoyable beer. No hint of the high ABV.

Dec 7, 2004 Bottle pours burnt caramel, strong red hues, large sudsy white head, fairly sticky lacing, with light carbonation. Spicy aroma, cinnamon and nutmeg, but subtle compared to the fresh pine and orange peel. WOW! While it smells extremely spicy, it’s not overly done. Very well balanced, Orange peel and a whole lot of Cinnamon. Enjoyable body, medium mouthfeel. Finishes... you guessed it, quite spicy. Long finish, lingering spices and Orange peel. The 9.5% ABV is undetectable, making this a true Winter Warmer. Well crafted, well rounded, a true Holiday concoction! Thanks goes out to MrFacto for the trade!

Dec 5, 2004 dark amber-orange hues with a dash of tan head.Nose is very aromatic,seasonal spices like pumpkin pie and spiced apples.Too bad the flavor isn’t quite as good as the aroma.the orange and spices come out but the brew looses itself somewhere.
