Oct 6, 2008 Draft @ Capones: Poured a copper color with a small head. The aroma was hops, citrus, and grass. The flavor was definitely hoppy with slight grapefruit and slight flowery taste. Overall, smooth IPA that doesn’t ruin my palate for the rest of the night.

Sep 29, 2008 12oz bottle. Light copper with big fluffy head. Light citrus aroma. Balanced IPA with enough moderate sweet malt to match the citrus/musty hops. Mild bitterness. Enjoyable.

Sep 23, 2008 Bottle. Light amber, fairly cloudy pour with a small head. Somewhat light aroma of grapefruit and herbal hops. Flavor is a nice balance resiny hops and sweet malt. Nice IPA, though pretty mild.

Sep 19, 2008 12oz bottle from Holiday. Pours light amber with a big, fizzy white head that settles nicely with good retention, spider web lace. Smells light citrusy, earthy hoppy with a slight malt presence. Tastes very good, light hoppy, citrusy sweet with just slight bitterness. Some malt, grainy and cereal sweet. Medium body, good carbonation.

Sep 17, 2008 Reddish-gold pour with a medium, off-white head. Evergreen hops, toffee, and rosemary on the nose. Citrusy hops predominate on the palate (which was a surprise after the piney aroma). Also pineapple. Nice IPA.

Sep 17, 2008 Tarry pine aroma. Unhazy lightly darker than pale yellow. No Head. Bitter soapy taste bud brunt . Eye pee aye. Terrible medication. Linger is easier said than done. Will not buy again. Too much for this lager lover.

Sep 10, 2008 NTH TRIAL: Golden body with a thin white head; clean sweet smell with subtle bitter hop aromas; smooth mouthfeel and flavor with a touch of sweet malt followed by a great cleansing, floral, bitter finish. This beer isn’t the best IPA I’ve ever had by far, but it’s a damn good beer for a damn good price in a time when exploding hop costs have resulted in skyrocketing prices for some of its big brothers. This beer makes a great session brew and is one that I buy frequently.

Sep 9, 2008 12 oz bottle pours light orange with a thin white head. Lots of hoppiness in the aroma. Citrus and pine. Flavor is sweet and malty upfront with a nice hop bite in the finish.
