this should be classified as a pale, not an ipa. the hop presence is not nearly there for an ipa. now, were this a pale, it would be great. mellow hop flavor goes well with the somewhat sweet maltieness.

Fairly bland for an IPA. Some hops in aroma, and some evergreen hop taste. Little fruit taste, and hop bitterness doesn’t linger. Many better IPAs.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear very light brown with a tanned head. Quite bitter and very hoppy, Shooting from the hip: Simcoe and amarillo? Nice hops profile, anyways. High carbonation. Bitter finish. Good.

A good IPA, this pours a light coppery orange color, with a good hoppy nose, with some citrus notes, and a fairly heavy mouthfeel. Not the best, but certainly good!

nose a bit restrained.....citrusy hop aroma taste is more bitter than the nose suggests...but not enough hop flavor to make it special another case in point why west coast ipa’s rock!

Strong grapefruit aroma, with the flavor busting on the palate at first then backing off for a dry hoppy taste. For some reason the taps taste far superior to the bottle, more so than normal. If on tap, I’ll usually go to this guy for a nice evening out.

Bottle. Pours a light orange with a good size white head. Smells very much of hops. Good initial hop bite with a smooth finish.

Pour is a orange with a large white head. Aroma is lots of grapefruit hops with a touch of sweet malts. Flavor is clean with lots of citrus and hop to please your hop crave. A pretty decent IPA and one of the better beers from this brewer by far.
