12oz bottle from Siciliano’s Grand Rapids, bottled feb 09. Wow, its actually fresh, imagine that, or at-least smells that way. Pours a clear dark gold with a big sticky off-white foamy frothy head. Aroma is lovely, citrusy, resiny, papaya, light pine, some sticky sweet caramel. Flavor is not quite as good, or fresh, as the aroma, bitter resin, earthy, sweet bright tropical fruits, peaches, bright sweetness that is fairly rich, toasted, piney. Medium bodied, viscous without being too sticky, combination of soft large and fine sparse sharp carbonation. Pretty nice, actually very nice.

A very tasty and hoppy IPA. Bottled in April 2009. Nice tangy hop with slight spice. Pours dark orange with little head.

Draft. Opaque orange/pumpkin color. Nice head/lacing. Smells sweet, hops, vaguely piney. Fresh. Tastes mildly of hops, not particularly bitter, some malt in there. A mild refreshing beer.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is typical clear burnt orange. Almost no head. The smell is slightly hoppy but subdued by malt. It’s a sweeter aroma then I anticipated. The flavor is moderately hoppy with a slight bitterness. Some pine a touch of citrus but, the malt manages to rein in all the hops and settle the flavor down. It’s got a medium body with mild carbonation. Fits nicely with the syle. This is a nice offering from one of my local breweries. This is an AIPA that everyone can enjoy.

Served with a very nice, large, foamy and frothy, off-white head and good lace. Color is a hazy medium amber. Aroma is a little malty and lots of fresh hops. Flavor is firstly - fresh, chewy hops on top of a little caramel malt. Good beer. Not too sweet; just enough to stand up to the hops. Great carbonation and mouth. Nice finish too. Don’t notice the alcohol until the very end of the finish. Perhaps a session beer. I like this one a lot!

Ridiculously cloudy yellowish orange, big yeast particles, huge foamy head. Smell is a nice piney hop with flowery esters and a hint of citrus; bready malt base. The flavor is more unbalanced, with woody, oaky hops, notes of heavy perfume and a bite on the swallow; surprisingly strong taste. Creamy body with a smooth finish. This is a harsh, challenging beer that is more akin to an Imperial IPA; my wish would be for more of a malt balance.
