Smooth drink with a hint of citrus. Tastes more like a weiss than a pilsener. Not a bad sampler pack from Lakefront. Canadianlush (169), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Enjoyed it, especially on a hot day - which is pretty much every day here - but nevertheless. Most dominant aroma and flavor is citris - mostly lemons. Smooth with great carbonation for a pil. Almost wheat beer like in appearance - it looks unfiltered and has a nice finish to it. A keeper. zootfinster (179), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 4, 2007 I made a trip from Chicago To Milwaukee this past weekend for dinner at Karl Ratzsch’s. We got there early so had a seat at the bas. I asked if they had any Kolsch. They said yes and poured me a stein of a very nice tasting beer that wasn’t kolsch but very nice non-the less it was a good tasting beer.
As it turned out it was called Klisch, the name of the founder of Lakefront Brewery and it was a Pilsner.
It was a medium amber with some really different flavors. It’s a hoppy beer but not the usual hops taste. Must be the Saaz. There is a fair amount of maltyness coming through also.
A pretty wekk made beer Hangover (771), Atlanta, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2007 Cloudy yellow pour with a creamy and lasting white head. Malty, grain aroma with some yeast and citrus. Nice mouthfeel, good carbonation. Taste is predominately malts, some grain/dough. Light saaz hops into the finish. Not very sweet, which I like. Crisp finish. Pretty good for the style. I’m digging it. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2007 bottle - Pours slightly hazy yellow with a one finger head. It has a pleasant aroma of light malt with hints of citrus and hops. It tastes sweet with some citrus and yeast. The hops is mild and shows up more in the wet but bitter finish of this light bodied beer. Overall the flavors just don’t seem to blend together quite right, leaving me less than satisfied. Dark golden pour, crisp white head, good bubble action. Slight worty aroma, hint of skunk - not unappealing. Solid, crisp pils flavor with some saaz hoppiness - good malty balance in the back end with some buttery notes. No singular flavor jumps out - just tastes like a well made lager. Thick enough mouthfeel. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Nice, light, malty Pils. This type of beer isn’t really my thing, as I always think of them as the Craft Brewer’s Budweiser. LF is pretty good, though, and I’ve not shied away from bottles of this. Like other LF beers, it’s pretty simple, and pretty good. shrubber85 (2995), Wallhalben, Germany
