| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Updated: Jun 8, 200712 Oz Bottle. Clean mid-yellow pour, with a white rim of rocky foam. Aroma of tangy malt and lemon. Flavor is a sweet, lightly tongue tingling tang of salt, lemon and clean malt. Sour dryness seems in line with the other examples I’ve had of the style. I’m on the fence about some esters present in the beer, somewhat indistinct, yet almost yeasty in a Belgian way. While seemingly uncharacteristic, they add a pleasurable facet of depth and intrigue. Hop character could be more forward. Appreciable. joshwilfong (797), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
