Commercial Description:
In the words of our President and founding father, Russ Klisch, "Klisch Pilsner is a meat and potatoes beer," meaning that though there are no darker specialty grains used to influence the color or texture of this beer, it is nonetheless a full-bodied satisfying all-malt brew. The recipe is simple, but how it is put together is what gives this beer its complexity. The deep golden color and malty flavor come from an ample amount of domestic malted barley and imported hops. The addition of Saaz hops added at the end of a two-hour boil gives the beer a wonderful balance with the accent on the hops.

Bottle - Pours a cloudy yellow in color with little carbonation or head. Aroma is of biscuit malt and faint hops. Flavor slightly sour and malty. Some hops to produce a slightly malty balance... needs a bit more hops. Finish is clean and slightly sour. Thiis was not a bad beer, but barely average.

Interesting aroma of pickle relish and gueuze. Solid yellow color. Chewing gum, dust, and cardboard flavors. Watery at the end. Very curious and different.

Bottle. Nose reminds me of a geuze-earthy and sour. Notes of cherry, wheat, and slight sourness come out. Easy finish. Light bitterness.

Pours perfectly clear. No cloudiness whatsoever. Starts bland, but finishes with a slight peppery taste. Not bad at all!

Pours straw colored, white head. Flavor is sweet malt, bread, some honey, hops are sligtly spicy. Not a lot of hops but they are there and are well balanced. Finishes crisp and clean. I wasn’t expecting much, but this is good.

Light gold color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity sweet and biscuity. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are sweet, a touch grainy and grassy. Solid malt flavors. Hops are a little spicy and earthy. Nice pilsner. Very drinkable pilsner. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Orange/yellow color....very nice frothy head. I’m not normally much of a pils guy, but i found myself liking this one...The hops are more subtle than most pils’, and it has a sweet aftertaste to it.
