Commercial Description:
In the words of our President and founding father, Russ Klisch, "Klisch Pilsner is a meat and potatoes beer," meaning that though there are no darker specialty grains used to influence the color or texture of this beer, it is nonetheless a full-bodied satisfying all-malt brew. The recipe is simple, but how it is put together is what gives this beer its complexity. The deep golden color and malty flavor come from an ample amount of domestic malted barley and imported hops. The addition of Saaz hops added at the end of a two-hour boil gives the beer a wonderful balance with the accent on the hops.

averageish aroma and pale yellow color. smells lightly hoppy and sour, typical. crisp clean profile, feels thin and seems like there are some adjuncts in there although it says all-malt. great pilsener, just not a great beer overall.

Pours a semi-hazy bright yellowish BMC color. Aroma is slightly malt, not a lot of aroma. Flavor is malty and a little sour, with a crips finish. Not a very Full Mouthful here, but a good beer for the style.

Slight hazed dusty gold color, tall frothy white head, immediate distinguishes to a skimming and the lace sticks in some strings and spots. Aroma is dullishly sweet with a pale biscuit-like maltyness, clean, crsip, a bit of grassy spiced hop profile underneath. Taste is pretty good, crisp, clean, nice balance of slightly sweet and pale malts, white breads, and a lightly spiced hop with a bit of grassy tone to it. Feel is about medium with a lighter carbonation yet crisp and semi-bold, dryish finish with some sticky sweetness residuals leftover. Not a bad brew at all, a nice drinker from the folks at Lakefront.

Hazey yellowy appearance, decent head formation. All malt, grainy aroma. Sweet malt intro, a touch of fruit and cookie dough. Mild bitter bite but overall not much going on. I’m surprised by the 3.28 average.

Clear light amber with a medium diminishing frothy white head and tons of bubbles. Floral aroma of lemon, apricot, sweat, honey and light bread. Medium watery body with lively carbonation. Very refreshing. Flavor of honey, apricot, red apple, toasted light bread, pistachio, and a hint of spice/wood. Very satisfying, clean and balanced. Perfect with brats on this hot day. Very good, I am a fan of this one.
