| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Bottle. Clear gold with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma of straw and grass, with some light citrus Saaz. Bit of a sourness in the aroma as well. Unappealing stale cereal flavor--papery and weird tasting. No crispness or substance I’d want in a Pils. Thin and watery. Not liking this much. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Mar 29, 2008 From a 355 ml bottle with a brewing date of Week 2-August 07. I bought an eight bottle collector’s set from this brewery and everything I have tested so far begins with an unpleasing yeasty aroma. This one is no different. It pours a cloudy yellow with no head to speak of. The taste is also a beat on the yeasty side, which doesn’t meet my expectations of a traditional pilsner style. Ir eally didn’t care for it. dkachur (2416), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Bottle from a sampler from Whole Foods Market in Charlottesville. Pours pale golden with an almost nonexistent head. Malty aroma with some bitterness. The bitterness in the taste dies in the beginning and is followed by a somewhat offensive sweetness. Nice effervescence. ChainGangGuy (2597), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with a small white head.
Smell: Pilsner malts and a pinch of spice mixed in with a heap of fresh hay.
Taste: Pils malt with a soft touch of sweetness. Vaguely spicy, mild hop bitterness. Grows increasingly watery near the finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: When you can’t find a Kölsch, reach for a Klisch. Then go back to looking for that Kölsch. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 15, 2008 I was hoping for a little more out of this one. There’s none of the noble hop tingle that I expect from a good pilsner, but the bone malt isn’t too bad. It just comes across as lightly sweet crackers and nothing to balance it. shp555 (1690), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
