Sep 24, 2004 Copper colered with a small whitesh head. The aroma is predominately fresh malt. The flavor is again malty, but very fresh tasting. Toward the finish, some hints of grain. Flavor and finish is full as expected from an Oktoberfest. Very smooth and very drinkable.

Sep 23, 2004 Not much head, but a nice dark tan color. Taste is grapey, strangely vinous with hints of wine? Bitterness is there, but a little off in my opinion. Still a decent beer.

Sep 22, 2004 Bottle pours a dark amber, small fizzly white head that quickly vanishes, light carbonation, with sketchy lacing. Malts & oats on the nose. Malty taste, some grains, lightly sweet. Medium body & mouthfeel. Finishes somewhat biscuity. Meh... better examples exist. Thanks goes out to footbalm for the trade.

Sep 20, 2004 Pours an oktoberfest red, with a fluffy white head. Aroma is malt with a hint of fruit, maybe cherries. Taste is thin, and lacking, something I’ve found in the majority of Oktoberfests. Hops barely detectable. Toasted bitter finish.

Sep 13, 2004 Nice dark amber color,small off white head that had a short hangtime then faded to leave little behind.The aroma was malty with a bit of sweet caramel and maybe a hint of hops.The flavor was much the same as the aroma with a bit more sweetness and a nice malty side.The hops managed to come through nicely but not very strongly.Over all not a bad brew but fairly easy to drink.

Sep 7, 2004 Dep orange with a beige head. Buttery thyme aroma. Butter is a flaw (IMHO). Fruity flavor almost like cheap perfume

Jun 24, 2004 Updated: Oct 7, 2004Light Brown Coloring. No Head. Pretty weak Oktoberfest for the most part...lackin’ some punch.
Upon Trying Again...with many Rates in Between...I find This To Be Much Better the Second Time. The Spice and Fruit Are Very Good...Don't Care for the Carbonation.. Nice acidic bitter fruit flavor on the sides of your mouth.. Worth Trying.
