A little bland malt, I guess toffee, some fruit, and generic hops in the finish. Thin and watery. This is just plain boring. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Weak aroma of over ripe fruits and sweet malt.
Flavor is dark fruits and hops, caramel with a bitter hops finish. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Bottle: Carmel in color, hazy, moderate off-white head, spotty lacing.   Soft herbalish malt profile.   Soft sweet malts on
the tongue.   Very pale, no hop presense.   If this is organic I get none of that weird earthy aspect so common.   Even has a
very slight pale fruit skin aspect.   Body and mouthfeel are bordering on thin.   This one is certainly clean, fairly crisp, but as
an ESB it is very pale.   Decent beer, even if a bit light.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark orange brown colored body. The weak aroma was hoppy and malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild bitter aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of hops and a mild brown malt backing. An OK brew just nothing special. DYCSoccer17 (2192), Davis, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 30, 2007 12 ounce bottle from a mixed 8 pack that was purchased at Nugget in Woodland, CA. Aroma is a bit sour with some lemon notes. Light metallic aroma with a touch of graininess. Mostly transparent amber body with an off-white head that is medium. Leaves decent lacing. Strange astringent, sour infected flavors to start. Light grainy maltiness in the middle. More metallic hops later. Partially infected. Unsatisfactory. kegmeister (25), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Looks like a typical ESB. Has a nice malt aroma with a bit of hops. Not bad flavor, fairly balanced, just not to exciting, would like a little more hop flavor. bhensonb (4285), Woodland, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 10, 2007 Lightly roasted malt aroma. Amber color with a decent near-white head. Thin to medium body with near creamy carbonation. The flavor is more malty than hoppy. Definitely caramel, but the hop is hard to pin down. Somewhat spicy, perhaps floral. The finish is less than dry, but there is enough hop to balance. Fits the ESB style, but perhaps the hop aromas are a bit lacking. Decent stuff.
