clear, dark copper body with no head...it smelled like a backed-up drain mixed with fresh grass after rainfall...flavor was a sour malt mash that was slightly less offensive than its odious aroma...

copper with a small yellow head. watered down, bland aroma with a hint of hops. flavors are very subtle. caramel, bready malts with a bitter hop finish. lightly soapy and astringent. thin, watery palate. not that good.

Subtle nose of dried fruit, cereal, and flowers. Pours a cloudy amber with melon highlights. The mostly lasting tall off white head is tight and leaves light lace. Great balance here, kinda malty, decent acidity, and a crisp nutty & bisquity floral finish. The medium body is soft and extra creamy with a clean feel to the finish.

Very thin and watery on the palate. Didn’t have a lot of malty depth for an ESB. Very light toasty flavor with a medium hop finish. This beer just didn’t have a great flavor balance, I didn’t find the malts toasty and earthy enough, sided more with a fruity, almost apple flavor. The hops were lackluster and weren’t very floral.

Bottle from Jungle Jim’s. Poured dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Light sour citrus and sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with a dry texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

Light amber in color this beer poured very nice with a thick head. The Bitterness was light in taste. The hops used where nice but this was a light flavor for a strong EBS flavor. This was a good beer but needed more finishing flavor in my humble opinion.

12 Oz Bottle. Poured a ruddied hickory brown, with a rim of off-white. Aroma was a whiff of sea salted grain sugars and light tannic hop character. Mellow. Flavor was a nice middle ground, with clean fresh earth, bright malt character and suave drinkability founded in a crisp lemony hop presentation. Noble and fresh. I’m actually rather enthused by the quality of this particular example. Nothing stellar, but good ester formation, nice bright salty touches and a fresh presentation. Underrated in my book. Paired nicely with a Turkey Burger.
