Apr 19, 2006 Copper color with off-white head. Very little nose, maybe a touch of wheat. Taste comes off with a touch of clover, wheat, dust... maybe some caramel and oats.

Mar 31, 2006 The aroma has some caramel malt with herbal hops and basement aromas that must be from the yeast. The appearance is a typical tan/gold that goes along with being an ESB. The head is a medium size. The flavor is a little sour up front but the caramel malt and bitter hops that arrive in the end keep the taste profile interesting but not great. The palate is average. This is one of those beers that is not bad but not really that good either.

Mar 26, 2006 Light almost a pilsner poor with a small head. I’m always a sucker for these organic brews and usually disapointed but this was better than most. A bit light but with a nice bitter finish.

Mar 3, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a notched bottled date on side of front label, 4th week/Dec. Made a decent appearance, poured a clear honey golden with a small foamy, bubbly white head that reduced to a thin bubbly lacing. Had a nice aroma, a grassy/lemony hoppiness, a little earthy and a biscuity maltiness with some faint caramel notes as well. Moderate carbonation and a watery medium bodied mouth feel, below average drinkability. An ESB with no bitterness? Had a watery grassy/lemony taste, no hop bitterness and a watery bland maltiness, not bready, not quite caramel, just bland, with a sour lemony finish.
This was a disappointment, not a very good ESB, watery and off tasting.

Jan 23, 2006 Pours a reddish amber with minimal off-white head; little lacing. Natural hoppy aroma with some herbal notes. Light bodied with a flavor of mild sweet malts, hops and a caramel aftertaste.

Jan 9, 2006 Golden ale with a thin white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, pungeant herba and lightly resinous. Rather nice hoppy light ale with light citrus and sweet malt. Ligh bodied. Mondiale 2005.
